Job description

Job Title: Structural Engineer I (EIT)Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Structural Engineer I (EIT) to join our Tucson-based consulting engineering team. In this role, you will support the design and analysis of a variety of commercial, industrial, educational, government, and infrastructure projects. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career engineer with a strong technical foundation in structural design and a desire to work closely with experienced Professional Engineers in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures.
  • Assist in the preparation of construction documents, calculations, specifications, and reports.
  • Develop structural plans and details utilizing AutoCAD and/or Revit.
  • Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, contractors, and project teams.
  • Conduct site visits, field investigations, and structural assessments as needed.
  • Support project managers with project delivery, scheduling, and construction administration.
  • Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals during construction.
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes and industry standards.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural design tools.
  • Strong foundation in structural engineering principles.
  • Experience in structural analysis and design.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with project teams.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • EIT certification required.
  • Experience with Revit is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
