Job description

POSITION DESCRIPTION: The role of the Further Processing Manager Trainee will assume normal duties and be given special projects, filling in for management on vacation days, and management assignments.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for learning and being able to operate in every position of the breaker plant/Canoff
  • Responsible for working with Breaker plant/Canoff management to achieve daily/weekly objectives
  • Assist in Keeping the Breaker plant/Canoff neat, clean, and organized during production
  • Assist Management in making sure all machines are kept to standards
  • Assist Management in ensuring that run sheets are followed orders are met
  • Assist in Filling in positions when management or operators are scheduled off
  • Responsible for learning and having the ability to do all paperwork associated with the Breaker Plant/Canoff
  • Assist Management with team member familiarization with company policies
  • Must treat all team members, customers, and visitors with the respect and courtesy with federal and state laws
  • Responsible for being able to manage, schedule and enforce rules based on Rose Acre Policy

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • High school Diploma is preferred but not required(with job experience), Secondary education is desired without job experience
  • Employee must be a good communicator and can manage/work with people in a fair way
  • Must be capable of working in a physically demanding environment, which may include temperature variances, egg odor, general dampness and general messes that are associated with liquid egg breaking facility.
  • Must have good decision and problem solving skills
  • Must be capable and open to learning and performing new tasks
  • Must be able to handle stressful situations

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Must possess the ability to work in an agricultural environment, indoors, outdoors, office, warehouse, processing, and farm production areas each varying in temperature, and other environment specific atmospheres.
  • Must be willing and able to work past the scheduled leave time to complete the job, if needed.
  • Must possess the ability to work in an open office setting.
  • Must maintain professionalism with coworkers.
