Job Description: Multicam CNC Router Operator

Position Summary:
  • The Multicam CNC Router Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Multicam CNC routing equipment to accurately cut, shape, and fabricate a variety of materials used in sign manufacturing and Sign products. The operator works closely with production manager, designers, and production personnel to ensure quality standards, production schedules, and safety requirements are consistently met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate Multicam CNC routers to produce components according to engineering drawings, work orders, and production schedules.
  • Load, position, and secure materials including aluminum, acrylic, PVC, wood, ACM, and other sign fabrication materials.
  • Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, CAD files, and production specifications.
  • Verify material dimensions and inspect finished parts for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
  • Make machine adjustments and tool changes as required to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC equipment and work areas.
  • Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot basic operational issues.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate production records and report completed work orders.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
  • Assist with other fabrication and production activities as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of CNC router operating experience preferred.
  • Experience operating Multicam CNC routers strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of CNC programming software and CAD/CAM systems.
