THIS OPPORTUNITY:

Egis BLN USA, LLC is seeking applicants forย Staff Appraiserย positions within our rapidly expanding Indianapolis, Indiana office.ย  The primary duties of this position will involve a variety of valuation assignments, primarily associated with acquisition of right-of-way for governmental/municipal projects. The successful candidate will benefit from unwavering support from both the local and international teams, gaining access to world-class experts on a global scale to facilitate our rapid growth.ย 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Appraisal assignments using traditional valuation methods, including identifying the appropriate scope of work required for the assignment
  • Preparation of market studies and reports that fully explain assessment results and outline methods used
  • Litigation support advisory services
  • Collect, verify, and interpret all relevant data that could affect property values
  • Stay current on trends and understand how those trends might affect property
Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • State of Indiana Certified General, Residential or License Trainee Appraiser preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge and experience of real estate principles, rules and regulations pertaining to the acquisition of right-of-way, easements, licenses, and other land rights preferred, but not required
  • Experienced/familiar with eminent domain and land acquisition processes preferred but not required
  • Valid driverโ€™s license with good driving record required
  • Strong analytic and written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, motivated, and self-starting, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
