Job description

We are an AS9100 / ISO9001 certified manufacturing company specializing in CNC precision machining. With a focus on quality and performance, we are committed to delivering high-precision products that meet the most demanding customer requirements. We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Lead to join our team. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and train maintenance team
  • Support production by ensuring machines are operational
  • Ensure overall cleanliness of shops
  • Ensure chip bins, scrap containers and coolant waste areas are emptied and maintained regularly
  • Coordinate chip removal
  • Monitor CNC machines for proper fluid levels 
  • Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checklists are completed accurately and on schedule
  • Track maintenance of machines and coordinate with outside service
  • Promote and enforce workplace safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify hazards or corrective actions
  • Ensure OSHA and company safety requirements are followed
  • Manage hazardous waste accumulation, labeling, storage and disposal activities in accordance with company procedures and applicable federal, state and local regulations
  • Maintain hazardous waste logs, manifests, inspection records, and required environmental documentation
  • Coordinate hazardous waste pickups
  • Conduct routine inspections of hazardous waste storage areas
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, state environmental agencies, and company environmental policies
  • Ensure coolant waste, oils, absorbents, contaminated materials and related shop waste streams are handled properly
  • Assist with environmental audits and regulatory reporting as required


Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience in supervisory position
  • Minimum 4 years experience in maintenance or related position
  • Experience in AS9100 machine shop a plus
