The Position

We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to be responsible for the maintenance of the plant, property, equipment, and safety systems as well as providing day to day direction, training, and management of the facilities team. You will be accountable to complete and maintain a robust PM program, establishing spares inventory, and maintaining levels to support operational needs. You will also be required to learn operational functions of equipment, repair, and provide preventative maintenance and repair of line equipment and train as needed.

The Location

We are located at 8860 Smith's Mill Rd, Ste 100, New Albany, OH 43054. This is an onsite position in an indoor, climate controlled environment.

Additional Job Details
  • Plan, oversee and coordinate activities related to development, design, construction, modification and maintenance of equipment, machinery and facilities.
  • Direct maintenance activities for plant, property and equipment systems.
  • Ability to prepare request for quotations (RFQ’s), bid sheets and contracts for equipment and facility upgrades preferred.
  • Project management for implementation, and qualification of plant improvement initiatives.
  • Define and optimize equipment set-up, run, and maintenance procedures.
  • Manage the Preventative Maintenance system
  • Supervise and direct activities of maintenance team.
  • Provide leadership in identifying cost saving opportunities in equipment and facilities related processes.
  • Train maintenance staff and operations on effective operation of equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and work cross functionally with other departments.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
  • Eight (8) to ten (10) years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment with responsibilities for equipment, facilities, and safety support.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BS degree in Engineering or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience working with third party contractors and suppliers is a plus.
  • Experience with Preventative Maintenance, CAD, and Project Management Software preferred.
  • Effective communicator, both oral and written.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement facility and equipment solutions that reduce cost, improve efficiency, and insure alignment with local, federal, and company safety standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analysis multiple variables and define practical solutions.
  • Ability to set priorities for multiple projects and equipment breakdowns.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with HVAC systems, electrical, mechanical, automated process equipment, engineering, and maintenance principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise supporting personnel and work cross-functionally at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain safety programs.
