Job description

We're seeking an experienced Options Market Maker to lead our presence across U.S. options exchange trading floors. You'll be the primary link between our electronic trading desks, floor brokers, DPM/LMM communities, and exchange personnel - driving liquidity provision, execution quality, and market structure opportunities across venues.
What you'll do
As a SSO Floor Trader, your key responsibilities include:
  • Make markets in eligible equity, ETF, and index options.
  • Represent the firm across options exchanges; build relationships with floor brokers, DPMs/LMMs, and exchange officials.
  • Track exchange rule changes, fees, and incentive programs.
  • Partner with desk traders and institutional trading teams to optimize quoting and execution quality.
  • Facilitate large or complex executions; monitor floor specific KPIs, fill rates and market share across venues.
  • Ensure compliance with exchange rules and regulatory requirements.

Who you are
  • Hold a bachelor's degree (required)
  • Deep understanding of financial instruments, trading exchanges and markets
  • Possess a high aptitude with mathematics
  • Excellent communicator and team player
  • Strong relationship-builder across traders, brokers, and exchange personnel.
  • 3+ years in options trading, market making, floor brokerage, or exchange operations.

Preferred:
  • Prior listed options market-making experience.
  • Series 57 active and in good standing.
  • Existing relationships within the floor broker and market maker communities.
