About the Role
RTS and Shamrock Trading Corporation are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our sales team. This role will focus on lead generation and heavy outbound prospecting to offer tailored solutions that best meet customer needs. An ideal candidate will be self-motivated with a personable, ambitious and adaptable personality.
What You'll Do
  • Understand and perform all processes from lead generation and prospecting to qualifying and closing new accounts
  • Conduct consultative sales discussions to assess client needs and present tailored RTS fuel card solutions
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities with other RTS and Shamrock divisions to maximize account value
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing customers
  • Assist with high-severity requests or issue escalations as needed
  • Use all required processes to maximize yield according to strategies established by senior management
  • Participate in strategic planning, including market analysis, customer segmentation and penetration strategies
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and market potential to inform and develop documentation for new sales strategies and product positioning
  • Collaborate with product marketing to support launches, create sales tools and deliver compelling presentations
  • Track and analyze key metrics to measure performance and refine sales approaches
  • Other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of business development experience required
  • Demonstrated record of success providing professional, solutions-based sales over the phone
  • Experience with high volume (cold calling) and face-to-face sales
  • Excellent customer service and project management skills
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, multi-product sales environment
  • Attention to detail with an interest in comparative and value analysis
  • Bilingual skills with fluency in Spanish and English are a must (must be able to speak, read and write both languages)
