A trade show coordinator plans and manages an organization’s appearance at trade shows or other events. In this career, you select the trade shows for the company to attend and develop the plan for the show. Your responsibilities include creating the design for your organization’s booth, creating displays, and developing handouts to give to potential buyers or clients. Other duties include managing the logistics on the day of the trade show, including creating agendas, making the travel arrangements, and ensuring all personnel have their badges. You are in charge of the staff and the schedule at the trade show, and it is ultimately your responsibility to make sales.
