Dealer Trade Driver

What You'll Do
  • Safely transport vehicles between dealerships and other locations as needed.
  • Ensure all vehicles are properly loaded, secured, and transported without damage.
  • Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure all vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle conditions.
  • Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure safe driving practices.
  • Communicate with the management team to confirm delivery times, vehicle details, and any special requests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicles during transport.
  • Provide excellent guest service by being professional and courteous during vehicle handovers.
  • Assist with light duties around the dealership, including moving vehicles within the lot as needed.

Schedule: Casual / As Needed
  • Hours vary based on dealership needs and driver availability.
  • Typical driving hours are Monday-Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., with occasional Saturdays.
  • Drivers are contacted in advance (typically one day or more prior) regarding available dealer trades.
  • If unavailable, the assignment will be offered to the next available driver.
  • Work volume may fluctuate - some weeks may include daily driving opportunities, while other weeks may have little to no scheduled work.

Pay of $12.00/hour
What We're Looking For
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • Experience driving vehicles in a professional capacity is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physically capable of inspecting and moving vehicles, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to meet deadlines.
