Cleburne Railroaders are looking for Press Box Interns to join the team! The Press Box Intern will be responsible for operating various press box roles on game days, including videoboard, Trackman data, DakStats, sound board, and pitch clock. Ensure smooth game presentation and accurate in-game operations while supporting the overall fan experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
  • Be a part of our gameday staff and operate various roles of the press box-
    • Videoboard Operator
    • Trackman Data Operation
    • DakStats Operation
    • Sound Board Operator
    • Pitch Clock Operator
  • Other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Graduated or currently enrolled in a related program (Broadcasting, Communications, Audio Production, Engineering, etc)
  • Strong interest in earning entry into the sports industry.
  • Possess a strong work ethic and willingness to work with your hands and in adverse weather conditions.
  • The ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Possess strong time management, multi-tasking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours throughout the entire season for not only baseball games but also outside events.
  • Strong desire and pride in the workplace and its overall operation to make it the best in sports.
  • Possess strong organizational skills and be detail-oriented.
  • Possess experience in general maintenance with a basic knowledge of basic
  • tools.
  • Ability to conduct self professionally both in personal appearance and attitude.
  • The ability to have fun while performing any task.
  • Be a leader in customer service.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; bending, reaching, and lifting; must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.
