Role: Senior Workday Payroll, Time Tracking and Absence Analyst
Location:San Jose, CA - Onsite
Job description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence Analyst to join our People Technology Team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role is responsible for partnering with internal teams to gather business requirements, recommend solutions based on best practices, configure the system for end-to-end testing, and provide production support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Configure and maintain Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence modules to meet organizational needs.
• Collaborate with People Ops, Payroll, and Benefits teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate system configurations and updates.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence issues.
• Conduct training sessions and create documentation for end-users and administrators.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and user experience.
• Stay updated with Workday releases and enhancements, ensuring the organization leverages new features effectively.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence configuration experience.
• Strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations in the United States.
• Proven ability to manage complex business issues and implement scalable solutions with consideration of downstream impact.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective written and oral communication skills to interact with various stakeholders and provide training.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
