Job Summary:

ZelTech requires a Staff Operations Admin Support Officer to provide all administrative support to SCS Senior and Divisional Leadership on a full range of administrative duties for Office of Space and Counterspace (SCS). SCS acquires, tests, deploys, operates, and maintains multiple global networks of MASINT sensor systems. The mission of SCS is to provide โ€œtimely, objective and cogent military intelligence to warfighters, defense partners, and defense and national security policymakers. To aid in the execution of this mission statement, SCS has a critical support requirement for administrative and executive support to the SCS Head Quarters (HQ) element, as well as organizational support (security, administrative and logistical) to SCS as a whole.


Responsibilities

  • Provide all administrative support to SCS Senior and Divisional Leadership on a full range of administrative duties.
  • Screen incoming correspondence and determines appropriate actions.
  • Assist in composing non-technical correspondence to include endorsements, requests for data, briefings, rosters or reports.
  • Review outgoing correspondence and reports, ensuring proper formats and correct grammatical content are used, and ascertaining that all necessary coordination has been completed.
  • Assist SCS with travel procedures, to include coordination, creation and scheduling of travel orders in the Defense Travel System and monitor and track official travel for assigned personnel.
  • Provide back-up support as needed, monitoring, organizing, responding, and distributing official (DARTs) and non-DARTs taskings in the event the Staff Operations Officer requires support, or is unable to perform against the requirement.
  • Follow records management instructions and guidelines to assist in maintenance, storage, and destruction of all types of records and correspondence.
  • Assist in filing/saving official records to the central filing system, shared folders, and SharePoint, and review documents for destruction or retirement.
  • Scheduling meetings and arranging travel.


Requirements:

  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a Counter-Intelligence Polygraph.
  • Demonstrated Experience with the Microsoft Suite of tools (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) as well as experience with SharePoint.
  • A minimum of five years' experience in a specialized administrative experience, preferably at an Executive and / or Senior level in Department of Defense (DoD) or Intelligence Community (IC).
  • Experienced in the preparation and editing of correspondence, summaries, guidance and other documents.
  • Successful completion of background/credit check and drug screening.


Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree.
  • DTS experience.
