What we're looking for
Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana (TMMI) is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Production Control Analyst, Process Engineer, and Quality Engineer.
Production Control Analyst:
  • The primary responsibility of this role is to perform production control activities in Production Planning or Supply Chain Management.
  • Reporting to the Production Control Manager, the person in this role will support the Production Control Division objective of making sure the resources (ie: direct parts, raw materials, indirect materials, and production schedules) are available when they are needed.

Assembly Process Engineer:
  • The primary responsibility of this role is to support Assembly Quality and Manufacturing Systems
  • Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the person in this role will support Production - based on daily occurring issues, specialist will respond to safety, quality, and productivity issues.

Quality Engineer:
  • The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain and improve supplier quality as well as overall completed vehicle quality with a focus on interior/exterior related systems and components.
  • Reporting to the Quality Engineering Manager, the person in this role will support the Quality Control department objective to maintain superior vehicle quality.

What you'll be doing
Production Control Analyst
  • Respond and act on abnormalities with parts ordering, logistics, production scheduling, and production down time
  • Investigate with problem solving activity and countermeasure
  • Collaborate with cross functional groups within TMMI, suppliers, TMNA, and other NAMCs to problem solve and identify solutions to increase the efficiency of the supply chain and production
  • Manage to daily KPIs to meet the division and company hoshin requirements

Assembly Process Engineer
  • Lead cross functional teams consisting of production, conveyance, maintenance, inspection, and quality engineering
  • Provide technical assistance to production to support process improvement activity
  • Provide tools/knowledge and act as a check group to assure all activity meets TMMI's safety standards as well as OSHA requirements

Quality Engineer
  • Managing supplier activities to confirm and improve parts quality levels
  • Managing cross-functional initiatives to improve overall vehicle quality level
  • Establishing and maintaining part and vehicle quality standards
  • Leading and managing problem solving related to design, manufacturing, supplied parts, inspection processes and equipment
  • Managing process and design changes at suppliers and at TMMI to assure no negative impact to vehicle quality and reliability
  • Sharing and adopting best practices for internal and external process

What you bring
  • Projected completion of Bachelor's Degree by May 2023
  • Knowledge of production control operations in Supply Chain Management, Production Planning, and Service Parts.
  • Related co-op experience in Production Planning, Service Parts, and Supply Chain Management or experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Project management experience (to include developing, leading, prioritizing work, meeting milestones, gaining consensus, and reporting out status of project
  • This position required driving. A motor vehicle record that's acceptable by company standards is required for this position.
