Job Summary:
As a Cart Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for driving a delivery truck and exchanging, pulling, and maintaining toters for all routes. In this role, you will keep accurate records of customers on the toter list, write the accurate address on each toter during delivery, and wash and/or repair toters if needed to complete the toter list. You will also need to contact the office if any problems occur, including issues with customers, toters, addresses, and any other relevant issues.
Essential Job Functions:
โข To keep accurate records of all customers on the toter list when placing, pulling or exchanging toters.
โข To write the accurate address on each toter during delivery.
โข To wash and/or repair toters if needed to complete the toter list.
โข To contact the office if a problem occurs, including issues with customers, toters, addresses, and any other relevant issues.
โข To drive to and from locations safely, including backing up a truck.
โข To keep the truck clean and perform daily maintenance checklist, reporting all equipment problems.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
โข To have a valid Class B/A Driver's License.
โข To be able to work as a positive member of a team.
โข To use motor coordination with finger dexterity (such as keyboarding, machine operation, etc.) throughout the workday.
โข To exert physical effort in handling objects up to 50 pounds frequently; 100 pounds or more occasionally.
โข To be exposed to a physical environment that can involve dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes, or similar elements.
โข Previous Class B and DOT experience is preferred.
Working Conditions:
โข You must be able to work overtime as scheduled.
โข You must be flexible to work any shift as scheduled.
โข You must be able to work in all seasonal weather conditions.
