Join One of Central Florida's Premier Catering Companies

Table Top Catering is seeking an experienced Road Chef to execute events throughout Central Florida using our fully equipped mobile kitchen trucks. Must be comfortable driving a 16'+ kitchen truck and executing events independently.

This is not a traditional restaurant position. As a Road Chef, you will be responsible for driving our kitchen trucks, managing event logistics, and preparing and serving exceptional food at weddings, corporate events, social gatherings, and special events. If you enjoy working independently, thrive in fast-paced environments, and take pride in delivering high-quality food and service, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

  • Safely drive company kitchen trucks to and from event locations
  • Review event details and ensure all food, equipment, and supplies are loaded and event-ready
  • Prepare, finish, cook, and present menu items according to company standards
  • Execute events ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale functions
  • Maintain food quality, presentation, and service timelines throughout events
  • Operate and maintain mobile kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Work closely with service staff and event teams to ensure a seamless guest experience
What We're Looking For
  • Minimum 3 years of culinary experience in catering, banquet, hotel, or restaurant operations
  • Experience with high-volume events preferred
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Comfortable driving box trucks or commercial-style vehicles
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
