Job description

Clips & Clamps Industries, located in Plymouth, MI has an immediate opening for an

experienced Toolmaker. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Experience Required:

• Journeyman card in Tool Die or 8 years of experience as a toolmaker

• Minimum of 2-4 years as a toolmaker after completed apprenticeship

Essential Job Functions include, but are not limited to:

• Program, set-up, and operate CNC equipment

• Inspect, test, and adjust new and reworked tools, dies and fixtures for conformance to

specification such as dimensions, tolerances, and hardness

• Capable of operating all tool room equipment effectively

• Perform preventative maintenance on tool and dies

• Troubleshoot issues with tool and dies to ensure production needs are met

• Read and interpret CAD data, blueprints, GDT, CMM reports, customer specifications

• Apply and utilize manufacturing best practice for efficiency, quality, safety and capability

• Set up and use precision measuring tools and check own work for conformance to

specifications
