Tool Room Machinist Pay: up to $30 an hour based on experience Schedule: 6am-4:30pm Monday through Thursday Direct Hire Are you a highly skilled machinist with a passion for precision and craftsmanship? Join our dynamic team as a Tool Room Machinist and play a vital role in producing and maintaining the high-quality tooling that keeps our operations running smoothly. In this critical position, you'll set up and operate CNC and manual machines to create, repair, and refine tooling, fixtures, and small batch components, ensuring every piece meets exacting standards. Your expertise will help support our production team by providing reliable tooling solutions, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining safety and quality standards. Required Skills: Proven experience in operating and setting up CNC and manual machines Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Exceptional measurement skills using micrometers, calipers, and inspection tools Knowledge of machining practices, tooling, and fixture fabrication Ability to troubleshoot machining and tooling problems effectively Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Nice to Have Skills: Experience with programming CNC machines Familiarity with CAD/CAM software Knowledge of tooling maintenance and repair procedures Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment Preferred Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machining is a plus Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tool room machining or a related field Other Requirements: Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment Reliability and strong work ethic Flexibility to support production schedules, possibly including overtime Take your machining expertise to the next level and become an essential part of our team.
