Job description

Position: CNC Grinder
Location: Onsite (Davison, MI)
Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Pay: $25 $35+ per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday Thursday, 6:00 AM 4:30 PM (4-day, 10-hour shifts)
Overtime: Consistent Friday OT available

About the Role

Elevate Recruitment & Staffing has partnered with a growing precision tooling manufacturer.

Responsibilities

  • Program, set up, and operate the ANCA TX7 CNC Grinder for carbide chamber reamer production
  • Produce parts to blueprint specifications and meet daily production targets
  • Operate additional manual manufacturing machines as needed
  • Perform in-process inspection and basic gaging/metrology
  • Maintain machines and tooling as needed
  • Work independently with minimal supervision

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience on a leading CNC tool & cutter grinder ANCA strongly preferred, Walter or Rollomatic also considered
  • Proficient in ANCA programming software (ToolRoom / iGrind) or equivalent on Walter or Rollomatic
  • Ability to both program and run production
  • Strong blueprint reading skills
  • Basic math and trigonometry

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct ANCA experience
  • Background or working knowledge of the firearms industry
  • Experience producing drill bits, reamers, inserts, or cutting tools
  • Manufacturing, production, and gaging/metrology background
