About the Opportunity

We are seeking an organized and dependableTool Crib Managerto oversee tool and equipment inventory, issue tools to production personnel, manage stock replenishment, and maintain accurate records in our inventory system. What You'll Do

  • Issue and receive tools, equipment, and suppliesto production and maintenance personnel.
  • Maintain accurate records of toolcheck-in/check-out and update inventory management systems.
  • Inspect tools and equipmentfor wear, damage, or calibration needs; arrange for repair, replacement, or reconditioning.
  • Store tools in designated locations, ensuring proper labeling and organization for easy access.
  • Monitor tool inventoryand notify supervisor of shortages or reorder needs.
  • Assist in conducting periodic inventory countsand audits of tools and supplies.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized tool crib environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement effortsby suggesting ways to enhance tool crib efficiency and cost control.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of Tool Crib operations, inventory control, or manufacturing support experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools, machine tools, and industrial equipment.
  • Proficient in using Zoller System Tool Management System, Tools Balancers and Redo Matic Equipment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details
  • Ability to communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service to production staff.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous inspection experience in aerospace, aviation, automotive, or composites manufacturing.

Work Environment

This position is primarily performed in a tool crib, stockroom, or warehouse environment with regular interaction on the production floor. May involve exposure to manufacturing noise, dust, or other manufacturing debris.

Climate-controlled manufacturing facility with state-of-the-art CNC equipment. The role requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50lbs, and working in an environment with noise and exposure to composite dust (proper PPE provided). Some flexibility for shift coverage may be required.
