Job description

Team Leader Tool Crib
Primary Job Function:
Maintain inventory levels for all new and repaired non-production crib stock items, to include: receipt and stock rotation through distribution to associates in all departments. Any other jobs as assigned by management.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
  • Maintain accurate records and inventories on all crib items
  • Coordinate with Purchasing amp; affected departments of all incoming shipments of new amp; repaired crib items
  • Ensure accurate inventory levels on specific spare parts inventories for dedicated production (assembly/press) lines
  • Ensure that all associates are provided with necessary supplies to perform their job functions
  • Ensure proper communication to associates of non-stock items in the crib
  • Operate as a cooperative cohesive team to perform effectively and efficiently
  • Maintain 5S and TPM standards
  • Other duties as assigned by management
Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred
  • Well-developed interpersonal, communication and organization skills with an attention for detail
  • Must be proficient with basic PC software programs and databases; MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint) amp; ERP systems
  • Blueprint reading and basic electrical and pneumatic skills helpful
Training Requirements or Equivalents:
  • New hire orientation
  • ERP System Training
Health, Safety and Physical Demand Requirements:
  • Frequent lifting of up to 25 lbs. and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Occasional lifting, climbing, carrying, pulling, griping, grasping, twisting, bending, stooping and reaching throughout the work day
  • Hand and eye coordination
  • Ability to sit stand and walk for extended periods of time (8 hours or more)
  • Ability to use a phone and computer keyboard
  • Ability to work in office and manufacturing environment
