Annual Salary Range: $72,028.00 - $129,687.00 

Responsibilities

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Develop Controls Engineering quotes and proposals based on customer project needs
  • Create Functional Specification documentation
  • Design Controls Engineering drawings, included but not limited to:
  • Electrical schematics
  • Control panel and junction box layouts
  • Outline drawings and component details for electrical systems
  • Network communication drawings
  • Select component parts and materials to be used in controls projects and create Bills of Materials for procurement
  • Testing and troubleshooting panels and control systems
  • Programming of PLC systems (FactoryTalk View Studio programming software)
  • Programming of HMI systems (Panelview, FactoryTalk View SE)
  • Programming of Historian systems (FactoryTalk Historian)
  • Work with customers to integrate controls solutions into their systems
  • Ability to travel to customer sites for field startup and integration of controls systems
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum BS in Electrical Engineering
  • Three to five years of experience minimum with the electrical engineering in responsibilities listed above
  • Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI experience required
  • AutoCAD experience required (i.e. Electrical schematics, Control Panel layouts, etc.)
  • Experience with control component selection and control panel design (panel sizing, fuse/breaker selection, PLC component sizing and selection, etc.)
  • Experience starting up control panels and control systems
  • Ability to problem solve and assist customers with control system issues
  • VFD drive experience
  • Electrical code experience
  • Ability to travel to customer sites worldwide
  • Fueling Systems (offload, dispensing, fueling stations, etc.) experience preferred, but not required

Work Environment:This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers, and smartphones.

Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
