Job Description
The POS Systems Analyst will be responsible for supporting, optimizing, and maintaining all Es Vedra Cinemas point-of-sale systems. This role is critical in ensuring seamless day-to-day operations across multiple POS platforms including Toast, Fandango1 (Formerly INDY Cinema Group), Embed, and Intercard. This role will coordinate configuration and publishing with our MSP and serve as the technical owner of POS systems with a strong emphasis on Toast POS administration. Core duties include but are not limited to multi-location management (MLM), menu and pricing governance, and system standardization. The POS Systems Analyst will be responsible for cleaning up and optimizing existing POS environments, ensuring consistency, scalability, and accuracy across all venues.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage the configuration, deployment, and ongoing support of POS systems (Toast, Fandango1, Embed, Intercard) across multiple locations.
  • Establish consistent POS change requests process, providing visibility to operations, finance, accounting, and upper management.
  • Develop documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures for end-users.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to assess business needs and tailor POS configurations accordingly.
  • Serve as a technical lead for troubleshooting and resolving POS hardware and software issues.
  • Perform system audits, monitor performance metrics, and proactively address potential system vulnerabilities.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors for software updates, patches, and system integrations.
  • Partner across departments to configure the system such that reporting provides actionable insights.
  • Stay current with industry trends in POS technology and recommend process improvements.
Required Skill:
  • 3-5 years of experience in a POS Analyst or Systems Administrator role in a multi-unit F amp;B or hospitality environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Toast POS is required.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills related to POS hardware and software.
  • Familiarity with payment processing workflows, inventory management, and sales reporting.
  • Proficiency in SQL or similar data extraction tools is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to travel at least 10% of the time.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, climbing stairs.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
  • Comfortability around flashing lights amp; loud noises.
