Location: This role will be onsite at our Carmel, Indiana Headquarters Monday - Friday daily.

We're Looking For:

We are seeking a Title Specialist with experience in document processing and handling. You will be part of our dedicated title team responsible for accurate and timely title processing for our dealer title processing department. In this role you will have the opportunity to use your office acumen and great attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have vehicle or similar title experience but it is not required. 

You Are:

  • Detail-oriented. You will meticulously process vehicle titles, ensuring accuracy and marketability.

  • Proactive. You have a self-starting mindset and can work independently with minimal supervision.

  • An excellent communicator. You possess strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with internal stakeholders and other Title teams and departments. 

You Will:

  • Identify title issues and understand when to escalate to the Title Issue team to troubleshoot and resolve.

  • Use critical thinking and have the ability to identify errors or inconsistencies in the Titles. 

  • Learn or use your knowledge on state laws and requirements when handling titles.

  • Process vehicle titles from multiple states, meticulously checking for accuracy.

  • Scan titles into an electronic format.

  • Create shipping labels, packages, seals, and send titles to buyers via FedEx. 

  • Return titles for voided sales to reduce turn-around times.

Must-Have's:

  • 2+ years of experience in handling documentation or paperwork in a corporate or office environment. 

  • Experience in data entry and other repetitive tasks. 

  • Proven track record of handling multiple tasks and responsibilities.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 

  • Basic knowledge of Google suite applications. 

Nice to Have’s: 

  • Experience in processing automotive titles. 

  • Experience in automotive-related admin or clerk roles. 

  • Experience in sending titles to buying dealers.

  • Experience in processing liens, insurance or mortgage titles.

  • Current notary public license.
