Job Summary: A Tire Sales Representative plays a crucial role in promoting and selling tires to customers, whether they are individuals, automotive shops, or businesses. This role involves providing expert advice, product knowledge, and exceptional customer service to meet sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the tire department or store.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Service:
    • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
    • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate tire solutions.
    • Answer customer inquiries and provide product information.
    • Address customer concerns and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.
  2. Product Knowledge:
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest tire brands, models, and features.
    • Explain tire specifications, including size, type, tread patterns, and performance ratings.
    • Advise customers on tire maintenance, rotation, and alignment.
  3. Sales and Promotion:
    • Actively engage in selling tires and related services.
    • Promote current promotions, discounts, and special offers.
    • Generate leads and follow up on potential tire sales opportunities.
    • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  4. Inventory Management:
    • Monitor tire inventory levels and request restocking when necessary.
    • Maintain accurate records of tire sales and inventory transactions.
    • Ensure that the tire display area is organized and well-maintained.
  5. Technical Assistance:
    • Provide basic technical advice on tire installation and balancing.
    • Coordinate with service technicians for tire installations and repairs.
    • Ensure safe handling and storage of tires.
  6. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Prepare sales reports, including daily, weekly, and monthly summaries.
    • Document customer interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
    • Keep records of customer feedback and product reviews.
  7. Compliance:
    • Adhere to all safety guidelines and industry regulations.
    • Comply with company policies and procedures.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework or vocational training in automotive technology or sales is a plus.
  • Proven experience in automotive tire sales or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of automotive systems and tire-related services.
  • Basic computer skills for sales tracking and inventory management.
  • Physical ability to lift and move tires as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (if required).

Based upon experience anywhere from $18.00 - $28.00
