Job description

Government Sales Representative (AZ / NM / NV Region)
Company: Southern Tire Mart
Territory: Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada
Position Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue government sales opportunities across assigned region
  • Manage the RFP/bid process from start to finish
  • Build relationships with:
    • Fleet managers
    • Procurement officers
    • Municipal and state agencies
  • Develop pricing strategies aligned with company goals
  • Coordinate with local stores to ensure:
    • Service expectations are clearly communicated
    • Contracts are executed effectively
  • Maintain and grow existing government accounts
  • Track contract performance and identify expansion opportunities

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of outside sales experience (B2G or fleet sales preferred)
  • Experience with government bidding and contract processes strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of fleet operations (commercial tire experience is a plus)
  • Ability to travel throughout AZ, NM, and NV
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-driven with a strategic sales mindset
