Job description

Overview:

Mobile Tire Technician


Employment Type: Full-Time

Location: Windsor, CT (On-site)

Pay: $20-$24, based on experience

Operating Hours- Monday-Saturday 8am-6pm

Schedule- 5 days a week, variable schedule

The Mobile Tire Technician plays a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences by performing tire services at customer locations using a custom-equipped mobile installation van. This position is responsible for safely traveling to scheduled appointments, completing tire services efficiently, and providing high-quality, one-on-one customer interactions. The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, takes pride in their work, and ensures customer satisfaction during every service.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic tire services including mounting, balancing, installation, and repairs
  • Safely load, operate, and drive a mobile installation van to scheduled customer locations
  • Conduct safety checks and ensure proper procedures are followed during all installations
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining services, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience
  • Follow company policies and procedures during all service appointments
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked mobile work environment
  • Perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting (up to 80 pounds), and extended periods of manual labor
  • Work independently while representing the company in a professional manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support daily operations

Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • No more than 2 moving violations or 1 accident in the past 5 years
  • No DUI/DWI or drug/alcohol-related convictions in the past 5 years
  • Ability to attend a one-week training program in South Bend, IN
  • TIA Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Prior tire service experience preferred; willing to train the right candidate
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Hours:

  • Minimum 40-hour work week; schedule may vary based on appointments
  • Additional hours may be necessary
