What is a timber mill?

A timber mill, also known as a sawmill, is a facility where logs are processed into lumber and other wood products. The process typically involves debarking, sawing, drying, and finishing the wood to meet specific standards. Timber mills play a crucial role in the supply chain for the building, furniture, and paper industries. Safety and environmental responsibility are also important aspects of modern timber mill operations.
