Location: Hybrid (Anaheim, CA)

An established company in the tile and decorative surfaces industry is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to support and grow its Southern California territory. This field-based role focuses on developing strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and key accounts while identifying new project opportunities throughout the region.

Candidates currently selling tile, stone, slabs, decorative surfaces, flooring, or other building materials through distributors and showrooms are strongly encouraged to apply.

This opportunity is ideal for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building long-term customer relationships, prospecting for new opportunities, and working closely with distributor partners to grow market share. The role requires a proactive and organized individual who is comfortable managing a territory, supporting customers in the field, and following opportunities through to close.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect for new business opportunities and consistently follow up on leads to develop new accounts
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and key customers throughout Southern California
• Visit distributor partners, dealers, and showrooms to support product knowledge, account development, and sales growth
• Identify high-value projects and new business opportunities through customer visits, outreach, and market development
• Prepare and maintain regular sales reports and territory activity updates
• Analyze accounts and develop sales strategies to increase territory performance
• Collaborate with internal teams to support customer needs and overall business goals
• Provide excellent customer service by preparing price quotes, coordinating visits, and responding to customer inquiries
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and customer functions as needed
• Travel throughout the territory to support customers and grow the business

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in tile, flooring, building materials, or related industries
• Experience working with distributors, dealers, or showroom partners preferred
• Knowledge of porcelain, ceramic tile or LVP products is a plus
• High School Diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred
• Interest or familiarity with interior design, architecture, or construction markets is beneficial
• Highly motivated with a proactive, hands-on sales approach
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills
• Organized with the ability to manage a territory and maintain consistent follow-up
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor
• Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds
• Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills
