Job description

Starting Pay: $20.00 an hour. 

Pay increases based on performance. 

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Waterproofing & Drain Tile Laborer to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install waterproofing membranes on foundation walls and structures.
  • Install foundation insulation according to project specifications.
  • Install drain tile systems to ensure proper water drainage and foundation protection.
  • Assist with excavation and site preparation as needed.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Perform general shop maintenance and housekeeping duties.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with crew members to complete projects efficiently and safely.


Qualifications

  • Construction or labor experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, bending, and kneeling.
  • Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
  • A valid driver's license is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.

Physical Demands:

This role requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing to access work areas, often in confined spaces or at elevated heights. Candidates must be able to lift and carry materials and equipment up to 50 pounds or more. The position involves working outdoors in varying weather conditions and requires good hand‑eye coordination for precise application of waterproofing systems. Proper use of PPE is essential due to potential exposure to chemicals, dust, and construction noise.
