Job description

Description

Electro-mechanical Maintenance Technicians combine knowledge of mechanical technology with knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits to operate, test, and maintain unmanned, automated, robotic, or electromechanical equipment.


Because the Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician has specialized knowledge and expertise candidate must be willing to mentor and assist in training others.


Be available for after hours, overtime, and weekend call-ins as well as flexible hours when necessary.


Safely troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems associated with a wide variety of production equipment

Working knowledge of PLC and Electronic Drives and show an ability to troubleshoot a down system with the use of a laptop

Working knowledge of PID controllers and analog control systems

Perform the preventative maintenance required as per OEM manuals

Know or ability to learn all shop disciplines to include millwright work, welding, pipefitting, and the use of machine shop equipment

Required to work by themselves or in a team environment and follow all safe work practices

Available for after hours call times and work overtime as required 

Develop and improve process documentation, quality plans, training and operating instructions as appropriate

Requirements

Experience working in a manufacturing environment in an industrial maintenance role or similar working environment

Knowledge in electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems

Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong technical knowledge and communication skills

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and safety standards

Sound communication skills and excellent problem-solving ability

Analytical thinker, which utilizes data to drive decisions

Strong team leadership and teamwork skills

High school diploma or GED and relevant experience required with related Technical School Certificates a plus

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
