THE JOB:
Step into a role where craftsmanship meets one of the most iconic resorts on the Strip. MGM Grand is looking for a skilled Tile Setter to help keep our world-class property looking flawless.
As a Tile/Carpet Engineer, you'll take pride in maintaining the details guests may not always notice, but always appreciate. From repairing and replacing tile to preserving the beauty of marble, carpet, and vinyl flooring throughout the resort, your work plays a key role in delivering a polished, high-end experience every day.

THE STARTING RATE: $38.12 / Per Hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
  • Install, repair, and replace tile, marble, carpet, padding, vinyl, and wood flooring throughout all areas of the hotel, including walls and floors
  • Repair and refinish vanity tops, marble, and concrete walls, including re-grouting as needed
  • Maintain constant awareness of safety and accident prevention at all times
  • Ensure all equipment and work areas are kept clean, neat, and orderly
  • Stay informed and up to date on current techniques and technical methods

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Two (2) years of prior relevant experience or successful completion of the Jr. Engineer Program
  • Extensive knowledge of the tile and marble trade to repair and maintain the property preferred
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
  • Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
