Collaboration with veterinarians and other animal care staff is essential for addressing any health or behavioral issues promptly and maintaining high standards of animal welfare.

What are tigers?

Tigers are large, carnivorous mammals belonging to the genus Panthera and are known for their distinctive orange coats with black stripes. As apex predators, they primarily inhabit forests, grasslands, and wetlands in parts of Asia. Tigers play a crucial role in maintaining the balance of their ecosystems by controlling prey populations. Sadly, they are currently an endangered species due to habitat loss, poaching, and human-wildlife conflict. Conservation efforts are ongoing to protect tigers and their habitats.
