Position Overview

As an M&E Analyst / Researcher, you will play an integral role in the valuation process by supporting appraisers throughout all stages of an engagement. You’ll research machinery and equipment values, organize and analyze field inspection data, and help produce high-quality appraisal reports used by lenders to make informed decisions.

This role is ideal for a highly motivated, organized professional who enjoys research, analysis, and working behind the scenes to support complex financial projects. An accounting or finance background is a plus, but strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist appraisers by researching machinery and equipment values using Tiger’s internal databases, subscription services, auction platforms, OEM contacts, and industry sources
  • Manage exhibits and all deal-related data for assigned projects, including organizing emails, documents, photos, and inspection notes into deal folders
  • Clean, import, and organize field inspection notes and photos into Tiger’s exhibit templates
  • Coordinate closely with Appraisers throughout the lifecycle of each engagement
  • Identify and communicate any data issues, inconsistencies, or questions
  • Create equipment lists and photo packages for dealer outreach; manage shared folders for external parties
  • Import dealer feedback, occupancy data, and valuation inputs into exhibits
  • Review deal research, values, and draft reports with Appraisers
  • Review draft reports for formatting accuracy of tables and exhibits
  • Provide analytical and research support to Appraisers and Managers on an as-needed basis

Qualifications

  • Experience with machinery and equipment preferred
  • Accounting background a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience working with databases and the ability to quickly learn new platforms and systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly motivated, organized, and proactive with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Comfortable working under deadlines in a fast-paced environment
