Job Title: Journeyman Plumber (Industrial Construction)

Job Summary

Tiger Star Construction Company is seeking experienced Journeyman Plumbers to support the construction and installation of plumbing systems for the Hailiang Copper industrial facilities. Candidates will work on-site, performing installations, maintenance, and supervision of plumbing tasks in compliance with Texas plumbing codes and project specifications.


Key Responsibilities
  • Install, assemble, and maintain industrial plumbing systems, including piping, valves, fixtures, and drainage systems.

  • Read and interpret plumbing schematics, blueprints, and technical plans.

  • Ensure all plumbing work complies with Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners (TSBPE) regulations and safety standards.

  • Test plumbing systems for leaks, pressure, and proper operation.

  • Supervise and guide apprentices and Tradesman Plumber-Limited personnel on site.

  • Coordinate with engineers, electricians, and other trades for integrated construction activities.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.


Required Qualifications
  • Valid Texas Journeyman Plumber License (TSBPE-certified)

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a licensed plumber in industrial or large-scale construction projects

  • Strong knowledge of industrial piping systems, fittings, and materials

  • Proficiency with plumbing tools, equipment, and installation methods

  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in physically demanding conditions

  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in industrial or mining facility construction

  • OSHA or other safety certifications relevant to construction sites

  • Ability to mentor and train less-experienced plumbers on the team
