Overview
Ticket Takers serve as the first point of contact for guests attending events at the ballpark. This position is responsible for greeting guests in a courteous and professional manner, verifying and collecting valid tickets, and providing basic information about the venue and event. Ticket Takers also play an essential role ensuring an efficient entry process, supporting safety and security procedures, and assisting guests with directions or basic inquiries.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Collect a valid ticket from each guest entering Wilson Warbirds Stadium
  • Coordinate with Event Security to ensure bag checks are taking place in a timely manner
  • Treat fans and guests with courtesy and respect and assist them as they enter the ballpark to ensure their visit is safe, clean, fun, and family-friendly
  • Direct guests to appropriate seating areas or provide general information about the venue
  • Monitor entry points to prevent unauthorized access
  • Assist with crowd control and maintain orderly guest flow
  • Report any issues or concerns to supervisors promptly
  • Stay informed about stadium policies, event details, and emergency procedures

Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on guest service and professionalism
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Must be at least 16 years of age

Education and/or Experience
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work Hours
Hours vary according to the game and event schedule, which will include weekends and some holidays.
Must have availability to work most games and special events.
