Job description

Guest Service Agent

As a Guest Service Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service by issuing season passes and lift tickets to guests and team members, and completing accurate ticket sales transactions. You will also assist with general inquiries regarding rates and resort policies, lesson bookings, seasonal locker rentals, and other resort-specific questions.

As a Boyne Mountain team member, you'll have access to an incredible range of employee perks, including ski passes, golf passes, waterpark passes, and discounts on food and beverages, retail, daycare, and much more!

The Guest Service Agent's typical job functions include but are not limited to:

  • Issuing season passes and lift tickets to guests and team members
  • Providing accurate lift ticket pricing options to guests
  • Completing credit card, and voucher-based transactions through the point-of-sale computer system
  • Handling general inquiries regarding rates and resort policies
  • Providing general information on resort amenities and answering resort-related questions
  • Suggesting resort activities and restaurants
  • Addressing guest inquiries in person
  • Helping book snowsports lessons and checking availability
  • Processing seasonal locker rental payments
  • Performing other duties as assigned
  • As a member of the Boyne Mountain team, you will be expected to embody our L.E.A.D.S values in everything you do:

Long Term Thinking Every pass, ticket, and locker rental you issue represents a guest's season-long relationship with the resort, not just a single transaction. Taking the time to guide guests toward the right pass or ticket option for their needs builds repeat visits and lasting loyalty.

Excellence in Execution Accuracy matters when you're processing, credit card, and voucher transactions through the point of sale system. Getting rates, policies, and pricing right the first time keeps lines moving and guests confident in the resort's professionalism.

Attitude is Everything Whether you're answering the same rate question for the tenth time that day or helping a frustrated guest sort out a lesson booking, a positive, friendly attitude turns routine interactions into great guest experiences.

Develop Great People Sharing what you know about resort policies, pricing, and procedures with fellow team members and new hires helps the whole team perform better and ensures guests get consistent, reliable answers no matter who they talk to.

Serve First From addressing in-person inquiries to suggesting resort activities and restaurants, your role exists to help guests have the best possible experience at Boyne Mountain, before, during, and after they hit the slopes.

    Qualifications:

    • You are at least 18 years old
    • You have achieved a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
    • You are available to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
    • You enjoy a fast-paced work environment
    • You are interested in a customer service-based position and are friendly and outgoing
    • You are flexible and able to multi-task
    • You are willing to perform other tasks assigned
    • You are able to stand for long periods of time
