JOB OVERVIEW
As a frontliner, Theatre Staff will work behind concession and box office, interacting with guests to make each experience magical and fun. This position requires you to work during the evening, on weekends, and occasionally onholidays.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
Customer Service

  • Greeting guests upon arrival and making them feel welcome.
  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward guests at all times.
  • Responding promptly to Guest requests.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional guest support.
  • Staying current on new releases and upcoming movies.
  • Communicating and coordinating as a team with your fellow colleagues.
  • Completing any other duties as delegated or directed by your supervisor.

Sales

  • Work behind registers managing transactions of guests on ticket sales or redemption ofvouchers.
  • Sell concession items to guests.
  • Be knowledgeable of the items offered by the theatre including prices.

Cleaning/Sanitation

  • Obtain a Health Department "Food Handler's Permit" within 30 days of hire if requiredby individual state law or the local Health Department.
  • Prepare and handle food in accordance with company policy and local healthregulations.
  • Maintain clean and tidy workstation, concession, and box office areas at all times.
  • Maintain clean auditoriums, restrooms and any areas as directed by theatremanagement, including sweep and mop floors, pick up and empty trash in and aroundthe building.
  • Completing any other duties as delegated or directed by your supervisor.

General Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 16 years of age at the time of hire.

  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.

  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Essential Functions

  • Greet and assist guests in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner.

  • Operate point-of-sale systems for ticketing, concessions, or merchandise sales.

  • Prepare and serve concession items, following food safety and quality standards.

  • Maintain cleanliness of theatres, lobbies, restrooms, and concession areas.

  • Monitor auditorium conditions before, during, and after shows to ensure guest safety and comfort.

  • Assist with ushering duties, including ticket scanning, guiding guests to seats, and enforcing theatre policies.

  • Support opening and closing procedures, including restocking, cleaning, and securing cash or supplies.

  • Collaborate with team members to provide excellent guest service and support overall theatre operations.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to maintain efficient and safe operations.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods during work shifts.

  • Frequent use of hands and arms to handle concession items, equipment, or tools.

  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch as required to perform job duties.

  • Ability to lift, move, and transport items weighing up to 35 pounds safely.

  • Mental stamina to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and guest focus.

  • Ability to work in varying conditions, including loud auditoriums, dim lighting, and crowded environments.
