Job Description

Strong network configuration and administration background, to support the VM environment, F5 load balancing and configuration management. 

Strong Oracle database administration background, to be able to understand the development team needs and communicate to the Aviation DBA team through the IT ticket system. 

Strong Oracle SQL Plus scripting, and able to run DDL, DML and generate the db reports. 

Strong Java programming knowledge and be able to monitor the Java application remotely and basic debug the problem, if one occurred. 

Expertise in Bamboo administration and configurations. [lower priority] 

Expertise in configuration management tools such as SVN, with branching, tagging and code merging, and guide the team on the best strategy for parallel development and deployments 

Expertise with one or more of the following: Artifactory, or other artifact repository management tool 

Expertise with static analysis/software quality tools such as SONAR Qube 

Experience in virtualized environment set-up, maintenance and ongoing development 

Experience in scripting languages such as Python, Perl 

Experience with build tools such as Maven, Ant, Grade 

Experience in Build-time dependency management in Java, C++, C# (Maven, MSBuild) 

Able to work in a team environment by demonstrating excellent written, verbal communication, and collaboration skills 

Ability to translate engineering processes into tools workflows

Qualifications

Linux, strong scripting skills, Maven, and experienced doing complex deployments
