The JOB

Festival Ticket Sellers will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to patrons during events at various venues throughout the Los Angeles area for Netflix Is A Joke Festival. Including, but not limited to, selling and scanning tickets, ticket distribution, and troubleshooting. All candidates must be available to work May 4-10, 2026.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

Financial / Cash Handling:

  • Ensure compliance of Clubs & Theaters cash handling policies and procedures

  • Assisting Manager/Supervisor and patrons with ticket orders and reports

  • Balancing and reconciling daily/nightly ticket sales

Customer Service:

  • Prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable customer service

  • Facilitate night of show Will Call/Guest List Operations

  • Greet and direct patrons at various venues around Los Angeles

  • Scan tickets and troubleshoot night of show issues (transfers, barcodes, etc.)

  • Work with Guest Services/Operations on any ADA requirements

  • Providing knowledge of upcoming events and upgrades available

  • Knowledgeable on the events culture and genre

  • Providing positive energy

Other Responsibilities:

  • Daily operations on Ticketmaster Host & TM1 system for sales and other tasks

  • Following opening and closing shift procedures

  • Follow standards and processes for ticket types, ancillary events, and qualifiers

  • Follow dress code policy - business casual

  • Assist Manager/Supervisor in any tasks as they arise

  • Ensure compliance with ADA ticket laws

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

  • Required:

  • Must be available to work May 4-10, 2026

  • Knowledge of Cash/Credit Handling

  • Knowledge of Customer Service

  • Flexible schedule (days/nights, weekends and holidays)

  • Tolerance of all cultures, music, and art forms

  • High School Diploma

  • Preferred:

  • Attention to detail in a multi-tasked environment

  • Knowledge of ticket sales

  • Experience in working in live entertainment operations

  • Ticketmaster Host & TM1 system experience
