Description Summer Camp Opportunities: Camp Rivendale Leader Join us at Camp Rivendale, where you can be part of a meaningful summer experience for individuals with disabilities. We're looking for dedicated individuals to join our team for the 2026 season. ** Employees receive free drop-in access to THPRD recreation facilities for their household, along with paid time off, compassionate leave, an Employee Assistance Program, and discounts on camps and classes.

Visit the "Benefits" tab to learn more about what the district offers!** Camp Rivendale's Mission Camp Rivendale provides enriching experiences for campers with disabilities, focusing on their physical, mental, and social growth through various activities like music, dance, drama, visual arts, and sports. Our staff and volunteers play a vital role in providing support, structure, and recreational opportunities, empowering campers to thrive with dignity and independence. Camp Staff Positions Camp Rivendale Recreation Leaders: Responsible for planning, preparing, instructing, and/or leading activities for program participants.

Pay rate range: $20.15 - $21.41 hourly The hiring range for this position is $20.15 to $21.41, based on experience and internal equity. The full hourly range for this job classification is $20.15 to $22.71. Staff may be eligible for a merit increase at the end of September

Position Details Camp Dates: June 22nd to August 21st 2026, training begins June 16th. Work Hours: Monday to Friday, variable hours, mornings to early afternoons, up to 26 hours per week dependent on camp enrollment. Location: Camp Rivendale - 8385 SW Grabhorn Rd, Beaverton, Oregon 97007 Responsibilities: Supervising and leading activities for patrons aged 6 to 20 experiencing disabilities in an outdoor recreation environment.

Work Conditions: Outdoor work; adherence to safety standards required Requirements Must be at least 18 years old on start date Must obtain CPR/AED/First Aid certification prior to start date Must have applicable experience working with people with disabilities and youth. Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions Application Review Our hiring team reviews applications as they are received, considering suitability for the role.
