Overview

Titan Florida LLC is a leading environmentally and socially progressive heavy building materials company located in the eastern United States. Titan Florida is part of the TITAN Group, an independent, multi-regional producer of cement and other related building materials. Our products include cement, aggregate, ready-mixed concrete, and fly ash beneficiation. TITAN Group has a record of continuous growth since its establishment in 1902. The Equipment Operator for Titan Florida, LLC Pennsuco Aggregates Division in Medley, FL.  This wage non-exempt position is assigned to the Aggregates Loadout Department and will report to the Shipping Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Perform all required safety checks and follow all safety rules and regulations.
  • Operate front-end loader (WA600/WA500 loading outside trucks and trains).
  • Operate a rubber tire dozer.
  • Communicate with weighmasters, loadout manager, trail scale and loadout lead man.
  • Work with lead man on other tasks required in loadout and plant.
  • Move finished products when necessary.
  • Push material on the basic pile to feeders for aggregates production.
  • Continuously communicate with plant tower operator and loadout operator.
  • Must be willing and able to train to operate other equipment and to perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor and Lead man.
Qualifications
  • Safety-minded.
  • Ability to speak, read and write the English language.
  • Basic knowledge of material specifications, preferred.
  • Knowledge of equipment operation preferred (dozer) and front-end loader.
  • Ability to understand and follow the oral and written instructions to carry out sufficient repair orders.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to perform assigned tasks properly and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a current Florida Driver's License and a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Capable of working in confined spaces.
  • Able to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk or hear.
  • High School diploma or GED.

Shift:

3rd Shift (9 p.m. to 5 a.m.).  Must be able to work weekends and overtime as necessary.  Must be able to work rotating shift as necessary.
