Physical Therapist Assistant – Hallandale Beach, FL Therapy Office

Location: Hallandale Beach, FL
Position: Physical Therapist Assistant
Work Setting: Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapy Office
Office Assignment: One office location only
Pay: $30–$36 per hour
Schedule: Flexible schedule available

We are looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant in Hallandale Beach, FL for an orthopedic outpatient physical therapy office. This role is a great fit for a PTA who enjoys helping patients complete treatment sessions that improve mobility, flexibility, strength, and functional movement.

You will work closely with the supervising Physical Therapist and help patients follow their recovery plans safely and effectively. This position is based in one clinic location only.

Schedule Options:

  • Four 10-hour days
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out treatment plans under PT supervision
  • Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, balance activities, gait training, and functional movements
  • Monitor patient performance and response during treatment
  • Communicate patient progress or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Review home exercise routines and safe movement habits with patients
  • Maintain accurate daily treatment notes
  • Help keep the therapy area organized and ready for care

Requirements

  • Active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant License
  • Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
  • Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
  • Clear communication and reliable follow-through
