What are Virtual Therapy Assistants?

Virtual Therapy Assistants are professionals who support licensed therapists in delivering mental health care and therapeutic services remotely, often using video calls, chat platforms, or specialized software. They help manage appointments, assist with client communication, and may facilitate therapy-related activities under the supervision of a therapist. Their work helps make mental health services more accessible and efficient by handling administrative tasks and supporting both therapists and clients in a virtual environment.

How do Virtual Therapy Assistants typically collaborate with licensed therapists and clients in a remote setting?

Virtual Therapy Assistants often work closely with licensed therapists by managing schedules, preparing digital resources, and facilitating communication between therapists and clients. They may assist in tracking client progress, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring that telehealth sessions run smoothly. Collaboration is usually managed through secure platforms and regular check-ins, allowing assistants to support both therapists and clients effectively while maintaining privacy and confidentiality.
