Shift Leader – The UPS Store (Multiple Long Island Locations)

Location: Greenpoint, NY
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Compensation: $18–$22/hour (based on experience) + performance incentives


About Us

We are a multi-location operator of The UPS Store with a strong focus on team development, customer experience, and operational excellence. Our stores provide shipping, packing, printing, and mailbox services, and we take pride in delivering a high-level experience to every customer.

We are looking for a Shift Leader who can take ownership of daily operations, support team members, and drive results on the floor.


Position Overview

The Shift Leader is responsible for running the shift, ensuring smooth store operations, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. This role is a key leadership position with growth potential into higher management.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage daily store operations during assigned shifts
  • Provide hands-on support at the counter (shipping, packing, printing, Amazon returns, etc.)
  • Ensure all customers are greeted and serviced with urgency and professionalism
  • Coach and support team members to improve performance and consistency
  • Maintain store standards (cleanliness, organization, inventory levels)
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and operational policies
  • Handle customer issues and resolve concerns effectively
  • Support sales goals by promoting services (packing, printing, mailboxes, etc.)
  • Assist with opening/closing procedures and cash handling
