Medical Optometrist---Richmond Area, VA

Commonwealth Eye Care Associates is adding a medically trained optometrist to work collaboratively with our well-established group of ophthalmologists, in our Henrico and Colonial Heights offices. Our optometrists play an important role in the community by coordinating care while maintaining excellent relationships with all medical care team partners, both inside and outside the practice. This is a medically focused position. A residency training or experience in a medically focused office is preferred.

We are a referral-based practice and therefore, we do not offer any routine vision care and we do not have an optical. This allows you to benefit from the largest OD referral network in the area without the hassle of handling the routine care needs of our patients to remain focused on their medical care. We offer all the latest technology and electronic medical records. We have a great clinical team that offers full support, including skilled scribes.
