About the position
The Pool Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the pool facility; while engaging guests with personal, friendly, intuitive service during their use of the pool or gym facilities.
  • Provide accurate information to guests in a courteous manner; fill all reasonable guest requests or requirements; anticipate guest needs.
  • Respond to all interactions in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction
  • Anticipate and service the guest's needs before requests are necessary.
  • Maintain the Pool and seating areas in an orderly and clean manner
  • The ability to ensure safety procedures are followed and notifies Security of any accident or injury.
  • The ability to monitor all pool and jacuzzi activity watching for the welfare and safety of all in the pool area. The ability to enforce rules and regulations with guests.
  • The ability to assist guests and residents in seating, offering towels, and informing them of amenities, hotel information and food and beverage service.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  • Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
  • 1-2 years food and beverage serving and/or related food and beverage experience.
  • Must be able to work all shifts including, AM's, PM's, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficiency in the English language.
  • Able to stand and walk up to 8 hours or more.
  • Able to work outdoors in the sun and warm temperatures.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
