Your Mission: The CHW Program Director is the leader of one of the key community outreach elements of Sun Health. Through this nonprofit programming, CHW will engage new members of the community in programs that support healthy longevity and engage individuals into the Sun Health family.

Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership for effective operations, community outreach, and funding opportunities
  • Develop programming to serve the needs of the community
  • Collaborate with nonprofits in the area to ensure connections on services without duplicating programs
  • Create program models which derive the majority of their funding through grants and donations
  • Manage fitness programs and, in collaboration with SHAH and Community leadership, develop a pricing model which meets current and planned commitments and simplifies the payment and tracking system.
  • Implement Swoogo system for CRM and support integration of the system with Hubspot and Raisers Edge.
  • Ensure flow of information between SH residential communities, foundation, and corporate departments for coordination of speakers and events.
  • Provide oversight of the LiveWell magazine to amplify the branding and engagement opportunities it provides.
  • Oversee grant opportunities (with support of SH Foundation) and develop strategies for program growth and funding.
  • Manages the implementation of Vibrant Living wellness initiatives for CHW and the broader community.
  • Provides excellent customer service, consistently demonstrating Sun Health vision and values each day.
Your Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, consumer, finance or related field.
  • Must possess knowledge of healthcare, or nonprofit organization gained through at least 2 years of experience in a related setting with accountability and responsibility for meeting/exceeding key performance metrics.
  • Must have at least two years of nonprofit, marketing and community outreach and program development experience.
  • Fundraising and grant writing experience preferred.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Requires reliable transportation in employee provided vehicle, current Driver's license and auto insurance.
