For many years, the Renaissance Shoals has been the premier hotel in the entire region, offering our guests luxury, modern amenities, and spectacular dining options. Our Banquet space offers 30,000 square feet of meeting space,19 meeting rooms, and holds up to 2000 guests we are seeking a guest-centric, efficient Catering Houseperson.ย 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the Heart of Hospitality: Read and understand Banquet Event Orders (BEO) and set up function rooms according to the specifications outlined in the BEO.
  • Keep Things Running Smoothly: Set up and break down all department functions correctly and efficiently, ensuring all necessary equipment and furnishings are in place.
  • Embrace Team Spirit: Assist guests whenever possible, promptly referring requests beyond your responsibility to the appropriate supervisor or team member.
  • Lead by example: Perform periodic deep cleaning of the function room area to maintain a high standard of cleanliness. Be physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling equipment weighing up to 100 pounds for brief periods as required.
