Job description

Hourly Compensation: $25.50

(This is a set hourly wage. No wage range exists).

Non-Exempt, Overtime Eligible

This position may be eligible for longevity incentive program at 6 months, and 1 year of employment.

BRING US YOUR STYLE AS A DELIGHTED TO SERVE AGENT

As a Renaissance Front Desk Ambassador, you set the stage for the entire guest experience. Youโ€™re often the first person a guest meets, and your warm, genuine approach helps them feel welcomed, comfortable, and at home. In this role, you create meaningful connections by reading guest cues, tailoring your service style, and offering personalized recommendations that highlight the unique character of our hotel and the surrounding area.

You are an explorer, a problem-solver, and a storytellerโ€”someone who brings the local culture to life and helps guests discover what makes our neighborhood special. By working closely with teams throughout the hotel, you ensure every guest enjoys a smooth, easy, and memorable stay from arrival to departure.

  • Cultivate and Maintain Guest Relations
  • Welcome and acknowledge each and every guest with a smile as you check our guests in, and as you check them out
  • Engage guests in conversation regarding their stay, property services, and area attractions/offerings
  • Anticipate guests' needs, including using cues to uncover their passions, asking questions of to better understand their needs and watching/listening to preferences to surprise and delight them whenever possible
  • Address guests' service needs and special requests in a professional, positive, and timely manner
  • Assist individuals with disabilities such as but not limited to assisting visually, audio, or physically, when requested or needed
  • Collaborate with and contact appropriate individual or department to deliver and exceed our guestsโ€™ needs (e.g., Bell-person, Front Desk, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security/Loss Prevention, etc.) as necessary to resolve guest call, request, or issue
  • Manage and secure bank
  • Run nightly audit reports and ensure accuracy of all financial transactions processed during the day
  • Receive and record wake-up call requests and deliver to appropriate department
  • Follow property specific procedures for handling emergency situations (e.g., evacuations, medical emergencies, natural disasters)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 year experience in the guest services, front desk, or related field
  • Must be able to write, type, and verbally communicate clearly and proficiently in English, and while delivering customer service and utilizing computer systems
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Ability to work independently
