What you will have an opportunity to do:

The Food & Beverage Outlet Manager is responsible for the successful daily operation of an assigned food and beverage outlet, ensuring exceptional guest and member service, operational excellence, associate engagement, and financial performance. This position leads and develops the outlet team while maintaining established service, quality, safety, and brand standards. The Food & Beverage Outlet Manager serves as a hands-on leader who is visible and engaged with guests and associates. The Manager is responsible for creating a positive service culture, maximizing revenue opportunities, controlling costs, and ensuring the outlet operates efficiently and consistently.

What are we looking for?ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS - OPERATIONS
  • Manage the daily operations of the assigned food and beverage outlet.
  • Ensure the outlet is properly staffed and prepared for daily business, special events, and peak periods.
  • Maintain high standards for food and beverage quality, service, cleanliness, presentation, and overall guest experience.
  • Conduct opening and closing procedures and ensure required checklists are completed accurately.
  • Monitor service throughout the shift and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels and minimize product waste.
  • Coordinate with Culinary, Stewarding, Engineering, Housekeeping, Events, and other departments to support efficient operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all company, property, departmental, and brand standards.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS - GUEST SERVICE
  • Provide exceptional service to guests and members and create memorable experiences.
  • Maintain a visible presence in the outlet and regularly interact with guests and members.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns and service issues.
  • Resolve guest complaints using appropriate service recovery techniques and involve senior management when necessary.
  • Monitor guest feedback and identify opportunities to improve service and satisfaction.
  • Maintain strong relationships with repeat guests, members, and VIPs.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS - LEADERSHIP & ASSOCIATE DEVELOPMENT
  • Lead, coach, train, and motivate Food & Beverage associates.
  • Conduct daily pre-shift meetings and communicate operational priorities, promotions, events, and service expectations.
  • Assist with recruitment, interviewing, selection, onboarding, and training of associates.
  • Prepare associate schedules based on business levels, occupancy, reservations, and forecasted demand.
  • Monitor attendance, punctuality, grooming, uniform standards, performance, and compliance with company policies.
  • Provide regular feedback, coaching, recognition, and performance development.
  • Address performance and conduct issues in accordance with company policies and in partnership with Human Resources when appropriate.
  • Foster a positive, respectful, inclusive, and team-oriented work environment.
  • Support associate engagement, retention, and career development.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS - FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
  • Assist in achieving outlet revenue and profitability goals.
  • Monitor labor costs and productivity and adjust staffing levels according to business needs.
  • Monitor food, beverage, and operating supply costs.
  • Review daily sales and operational reports and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure accurate POS transactions, cash handling, deposits, discounts, comps, voids, and other financial controls.
  • Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and expense management.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve efficiency, and reduce operating costs.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS - FOOD SAFETY & COMPLIANCE
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local food safety, sanitation, health, and alcohol service regulations.
  • Maintain required food safety and sanitation standards throughout the outlet.
  • Ensure proper food handling, storage, labeling, temperature control, and product rotation.
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service practices are followed.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and promptly report accidents, injuries, hazards, and incidents.
  • Ensure associates follow established safety and operating procedures.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS - TRAINING
  • Ensure all Food & Beverage associates receive appropriate departmental training.
  • Conduct ongoing service and product knowledge training.
  • Ensure associates understand menus, ingredients, allergens, beverages, service standards, and resort offerings.
  • Monitor completion of required company and property training.
  • Identify training opportunities and develop associates for increased responsibility.
QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Restaurant Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience in Food & Beverage, hospitality, restaurant, hotel, resort, or private club operations.
  • Experience in an upscale hotel, resort, restaurant, or private club environment preferred.
  • Previous experience managing a high-volume outlet and leading a diverse team preferred.

Compensation: $60000 - $65000
